The Washington Redskins face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Sept. 17 in NFL Week 2. Here is all the info you need to watch the game.

The Washington Redskins take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2 of the NFL season. Washington enters this game 0-1 after losing to division rival Philadelphia Eagles. The Rams put on a dominant performance in Week 1, defeating the Indianapolis Colts 46-9.

LA finished 4-12 last season and did make any significant moves in the offseason to improve their roster. However, going off of Week 1 it seems that first-year coach Sean McVay has a chance to make a playoff run with this roster.

McVay was the offensive coordinator for Washington for three seasons before being hired as the head coach of the Rams. Washington’s offense might struggle in Week 2 as McVay has certainly been preparing his defense all week to face a team he knows intimately. Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins struggled in his season opener against Philadelphia.

Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins struggled in his season opener against Philadelphia. Cousins threw for 240 yards and a touchdown, yet only had a 57 percent completion ratee. Cousins also threw an interception and fumbled twice, both of which were recovered by the Eagles. In the offseason, Washington lost their two best receivers in Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson and it seems Washington might continue to struggle in the passing game due to their lack of weapons.

Despite their struggles in recent seasons, the Rams have found success against Washington. Dating back to 2010 the Rams are 3-2 against Washington and 2-1 at home. If the Rams defense looks remotely as good against Washington as they did in Week 1, this will be a tough game for Washington to win.
