1. Despite the loss, the Chargers showed great resiliency again

I understand, there are no true “moral victories” in the NFL, especially for a franchise and fan-base that are desperately searching for success again. For the second straight week, the Chargers were in position to kick the game-winning field goal, only to see the other sideline celebrating in Los Angeles’ defeat.

In both of the team’s games against Denver and Miami, Los Angeles had more than enough opportunities to win, but they just couldn’t finish. That being said, you can’t say that this team has quit either weekend.

Look, I totally get it — losing two games in-a-row definitely sucks. No one wants to start a season 0-2, but that isn’t a reason why you should chalk this up as a lost year already. Heck, there’s still 14 games the Chargers have left to play. If their grit and determination in either contest has proven anything, it’s that this team is legit and they never quit.

Again, with games against the Eagles, Giants, Jaguars, Bills, Browns, Redskins and Jets on the schedule, there’s absolutely no reason why this football team can’t experience a turnaround.

Hang in there Chargers’ faithful, things will get better and they will very soon.
