7. Mohamed Sanu, WR, Atlanta Falcons (34.4 percent owned)

Over the Falcons first two games Sanu leads the team in receptions (11) and targets (15) and is second on the team in receiving yards (132). The team’s star wide receiver, Julio Jones, is currently ranked just five spots ahead of Sanu in PPR leagues.

Sanu has a good ceiling in the Falcons high-scoring offense and there’s no reason to believe he won’t push for 100 targets after seeing 81 across 15 games a season ago. Not to mention, Julio has dealt with his share of injuries. So not only does Sanu make for a decent FLEX play in Week 3, but he is also worth a bench spot in most leagues. That’s because if Julio were to miss some time, he would enter the WR1/2 conversation.

6. Eric Ebron, TE, Detroit Lions (46.7 percent owned)

Last week Ebron led the Lions in receptions (5), receiving yards (42), tied for a team-high in targets (5) and caught his first touchdown pass of 2017. The former-first round pick is one of the more athletic tight ends in the NFL and can win the one-on-one matchups while also being a force in the red zone.

This week the Lions take on the Atlanta Falcons and there’s little doubt they’ll be able to put up points. When they do, it’ll force the Lions to throw in order to keep up. In only two games in 2017, opposing tight ends have combined for 13 receptions and 139 yards against the Falcons. This is a good spot for owners who are looking for a tight end to plug in their lineups for Week 3.
