Minnesota was missing starting quarterback Sam Bradford in Week 2 and backup Case Keenum threw for only 167 yards and had a completion percentage of 54.1 percent. Keenum’s completion percentage in Week 2 was the worst by a Vikings quarterback since Christian Ponder in Week 5 of the 2014 season. Last week, the Vikings were only able to gain 237 yards on offense and had 131 penalty yards.
Bradford has been practicing since Wednesday, although limitedly. The Vikings have been quiet about how long Bradford could miss with the injury, as it could be weeks or he could play on Sunday. If Bradford misses time, the Vikings could be in trouble at home against a Buccaneer team that has immense talent on both sides of the ball.

Tampa Bay is looking to compete in an NFC South that still has three undefeated teams. In a division this tough, every game matters and getting off to a good start to the season matters even more. The good news for Tampa Bay is that history is in their favor. The Buccaneers have six of their last seven meetings against the Vikings, with four of those wins by double digits. However, the Vikings won the last meetings between these two teams, a 19-13 overtime win in 2014.
