1. Holes In The Wall

The Broncos offensive line wasn’t a brick wall against the Bills on Sunday. They were more like a damp, porous dry wall that got smashed through by the Kool-Aid Man — OH YEAH! This was a major concern going into this game, considering the Bills have a stable of talented pass rushers and with Denver experiencing injuries at left tackle.

The offensive line gave up three sacks and allowed consistent pressure from the opposing team’s pass rush. This made it hard for the offense to convert pass attempts and caused the team to miss out on a few opportunities during the game.

Buffalo has a tough defensive line that presented a lot of miss matches against Denver’s offensive line unit. This is one of the reasons why the Broncos hesitated when it came to running the football, because the Bills offensive line was able to plug up the running lanes, making hard for the running backs to get anything going on the ground.

Denver’s offensive line will need to figure things out quick, because next week against the Raiders, they will be facing Khalil Mack, who is one of the most ferocious pass rushers in the league. Things will go awry quickly in this game if the Broncos can’t control the line of scrimmage.
