The Los Angeles Chargers dropped their third-straight game on Sunday. Here are three concerning takeaways from their game vs the Chiefs.

The Los Angeles Chargers came into the third weekend of the 2017 NFL regular season looking for their first win of the year. While the Kansas City Chiefs were clearly the better football team after three short weeks, the ‘Bolts were coming into the came with some sense of desperation, as dropping to 0-3 is very tough to come back from.

Even so, there was some sense of optimism that this would finally be the week it all came together for the Chargers – the offense would finally click, the defense would be solid and special-teams wouldn’t make any crucial mistakes. That being said, it was a complete disaster for Los Angeles once again on Sunday afternoon.

Now that the Chargers are sitting on an 0-3 record, next week will ultimately decided whether this team will have any chance of making the playoffs. It may seem funny to some of you now, but Los Angeles isn’t out of it just yet.

However, with their next five games against the Eagles, Giants, Raiders, Broncos and Patriots, it’s a real possibility that this team will be 0-8 before their bye week.

The time is now for the Chargers to either put up or shut up. I was a huge advocate of this 2017 Los Angeles football team before the season, but they have yet to play to their potential and win one game. That said, here are three concerning takeaways from their loss against the Chiefs.
