Taking a look at which two teams will be facing off on Thursday Night Football in Week 4 of the 2017 NFL season.

Thursday Night Football this week will be between two rivals who are coming off Week 3 wins when the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears do battle at the iconic Lambeau Field to begin Week 4 play.

The Packers are coming off an overtime win against the Cincinnati Bengals, a game where they overcame a 21-7 halftime deficit to defeat the Bengals, 27-24 when Aaron Rodgers drove Green Bay downfield to set up a game-winning 27-yard field goal by Mason Crosby. In the first three games, Rodgers has completed 66.3 percent of his passes for 654 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.

Chicago won in Week 3 as well, defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers, 23-17, in overtime with Jordan Howard rushing for a 19-yard touchdown to secure the first Bears win of the season. This season, Howard has rushed for 197 yards and three touchdowns. However, 138 yards and two of those touchdowns came in Week 3.

On paper, the Packers are the superior team as they are 2-1 on the season, while the Bears are 1-2. Green Bay struggled this season in games against the Atlanta Falcons and even the Bengals in the first half on Sunday but were able to overcome the 14-point deficit against Cincinnati. On the other hand, the Bears competed strong against the same Falcons team in Week 1, so that leaves the question: just how good are the Bears, and can they take advantage of chances given to them?

Green Bay will be favored to win entering the Thursday Night Football contest, and for good reason. The Packers are better in the quarterback comparisons with them having Rodgers against Chicago’s Mike Glennon, and the Packers have the better overall team.

Kickoff will be at 8:25 p.m. ET on CBS, NFL Network and Amazon Prime Video and on the radio via Westwood One.
