In their Week 4 matchup, the Chicago Bears revive their heated rivalry with the Green Bay Packers. We go over the takeaways from the storm-ridden game.

After getting their first win of the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3, the Chicago Bears went on the road to face the hated Green Bay Packers. The heated rivalry is perhaps the biggest rivalry in all of sports. The Bears entered the game feeling well after recovering from the Week 2 beatdown at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. When the game started, however, things went downhill.

After the Packers took the opening drive for a touchdown, the Bears tried a pass on their first play. Clay Matthews Jr. came in and forced a fumble that quarterback Mike Glennon lost. Aaron Rodgers and his Green Bay offense scored 45 seconds later. Suddenly the Bears trailed 14-0.

The Bears continued to struggle. Glennon took a snap off his knee for another turnover. They survived that storm, though.

Then another storm literally hit them. A rainstorm with lightning came over Green Bay. After the storm, the Bears moved the ball a bit but penalties and another turnover cost them. Two penalties ended a drive, and when they got the ball again Glennon committed turnover number three. This time he threw an interception.

The penalties and turnovers continued into the second half and the Bears found themselves on the wrong end of a blowout…again. Let’s take a look at the takeaways from this game:
