CHARLOTTE, NC - AUGUST 26: Tom Brady

The Carolina Panthers face the New England Patriots on Sunday, Oct. 1 in NFL Week 4. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Two teams with 2-1 records collide in Week 4 as the Carolina Panthers head to Foxborough to face the defending NFL champion New England Patriots in Gillette Stadium. Carolina is coming off a disappointing showing at home the week before where they struggled against a divisional rival in New Orleans.

Struggles are nothing new for them as they’ve been looking awkward on both sides of the ball ever since losing in Super Bowl 50. Quarterback Cam Newton has reverted to his old ways where his play is as sporadic as his moods and they don’t have their best passing option in tight end Greg Olsen — who was sent to the IR.

New England has been impressive on offense as 40-year old quarterback Tom Brady has thrown all over everyone so far. He had five touchdown passes last week in a shootout as they avoided a losing start to the year. Defensively though they’ve been a little off giving up 42, 20 and 36 points in the first three games.

Carolina may be able to score on this defense some, but their inability to stop New Orleans last week doesn’t bode well when going against Brady and his Patriots. For anyone who can’t get it on television, check out NFL Sunday Ticket for streaming services or Game Pass for replays.
