After their fourth-straight loss to start the 2017 season, we take a look at three concerning take for the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.

Another week, another excruciating loss for the Los Angeles Chargers and their fans. For the third time in four weeks, the Bolts have lost by three points or less. Needless to say, there’s not another fanbase in the NFL that’s dealing with such agony through the first quarter of the 2017 NFL season as Chargers fans are.

As you’d expect with a team that has yet to win a game through four weeks, there’s more than one reason why they haven’t been successful up to this point. Whether it’s been their lack of discipline, an inability to stop the run or missing field goals in the closing seconds, each of these have cost the Chargers wins through the month of September.

That said, the only thing this Los Angeles football team can do is move forward. While I thought that would happen against Philadelphia in Week 4, the Eagles proved they are much better than previously thought. However, giving up over 200 rushing yards didn’t help the Chargers’ attempt either.

It was another heartbreaking loss for Chargers fans and players alike, as the Eagles eventually won 26-24. Here are three concerning takeaways for the Bolts in their defeat on Sunday afternoon.
