Are you a fantasy football owner who’s a little desperate for Week 5? Check out these 10 deep sleepers who could still be available in your league.

We are only at Week 5 but it’s easy to see some fantasy football teams are in bad shape. The injuries are piling up for some owners and some healthy players are on their bye week. Now more than ever, owners have to find some gems on the waiver wire.  With so many players available, who are the ones owners should take a chance on?

Here are 10 of my favorite deep sleepers for Week 5.

To be eligible as a “deep sleeper” players have to be less than 50 percent owned in ESPN leagues.

SEATTLE, WA – NOVEMBER 22: Running back Thomas Rawls #34 of the Seattle Seahawks is congratulated by fullback Will Tukuafu #46 after scoring a touchdown in the first quarter against the San Francisco 49ers at CenturyLink Field on November 22, 2015 in Seattle, Washington. The Seahawks defeated the 49ers 29-13.

10. Seattle RBs Eddie Lacy (48.4 percent) and Thomas Rawls (33.9 percent)

Okay so we are just over 200 words into this article and I already lied to you. Instead of giving you “10 deep sleepers”, I’m going to give you 11.

The reason I lumped Lacy and Rawls together is because Seattle will go with a running back by committee with Chris Carson out for the season. Who out of the two will get the most touches is a mystery at this point. Some people believe it will be Lacy because Rawls was inactive last week while Lacy carried the ball 11 times for 52 yards. Personally, I prefer Rawls because I simply believe he’s a better running back.

Either way, both running backs should see some time in the backfield but also keep in mind both running backs will cede some snaps to passing-catching running back C.J. Prosise. Normally I wouldn’t recommend either of these two but their opponent this week, the Los Angeles Rams, are ranked 30th in the NFL in rushing defense.
