7. Corey Clement, RB, Philadelphia Eagles (2.8 percent owned)

In Week 3, Clement saw a season-high in both carries (6) and rushing yards (22) yards. A week later, Clement set a new season-high with 10 carries and 30 rushing yards. Going into Week 5, Clement is poised to set a new season-high in both touches and yards for the third straight week.

Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood saw a bump in touches in Week 3 after the team lost Darren Sproles to injury. Over the last two weeks, Smallwood has combined for 27 touches and 159 yards. After missing practice all week, it now appears Smallwood will miss Week 5 and as a result, Clement should see increase playing time. Clement should be treated as a RB3 in a tough matchup.

6. Jerick McKinnon, RB, Minnesota Vikings (26.0 percent owned)

Based on ownership numbers, most owners believe Latavius Murray will fill the void left by running back Dalvin Cook. Yet, I’m not so sure Jerick McKinnon isn’t the better fantasy option.

The fourth-year running back is a better pass-catcher than Murray and should see time on third downs, obvious passing downs and two-minute situations. Not to mention, he’s more than capable of running the ball between the tackles. I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if McKinnon outscores Murray in PPR leagues this week.
