Jets vs. Browns live stream: Watch Week 5 online
By Randy Gurzi
The New York Jets face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Oct. 8 in NFL Week 5 of the 2017 season. Here’s all the info you need to watch the game.
There’s been a surprise team in the NFC East this season. Well, maybe there’s been four of them as no one could have predicted the standings would currently see Buffalo at the top with Miami at the bottom. Even more shocking is the fact that the New York Jets are sandwiched with New England in the middle at 2-2 after back-to-back wins. Now New York will take that streak on the road and go for the hat trick against the winless Cleveland Browns in Week 5 NFL action.
The Jets were originally believed to be tanking this season in the hopes of getting themselves the first overall pick — and the rights to USC quarterback Sam Darnold. It hasn’t played out that way as they’re on a better streak than the signal caller who was supposed to be their 2018 savior.
One team that may be able to get the franchise passer of their choosing next year is the Browns. After selecting three players in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Cleveland is still as bad a team as ever. They’re 0-4 and nothing about their play to date encourages the thought that they can suddenly turn things around.
Despite the lack of wins, this should be a fun game to watch as both teams have some hard hitters on the defensive side of the ball. For anyone who can’t get it on television, check out NFL Sunday Ticket for streaming services or Game Pass for replays.

If New York did have plans to tank, this would be a great game to do so. A loss to Cleveland could actually help them in the offseason if they revert to their old ways of struggling to compile wins.
