The Seattle Seahawks faced the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Oct. 8 in Week 5 of the 2017 NFL season. Here’s all the highlights from the game.

For the past few years in the NFC West, it’s really been a two-team race, but the Seattle Seahawks have been the class of the division. Through the first four weeks of the 2017 NFL season, however, this seemed like it was getting turned on its head thanks to the Los Angeles Rams’ emergence. However, they still had to prove themselves, which they had the chance to do on Sunday as they welcomed Seattle to LA.

New head coach Sean McVay has looked phenomenal in his first four games in terms of what he’s done with this team. He has Jared Goff looking like the No. 1 pick that he is. What’s more, the improvement on the offensive line have helped the quarterback, but much more so running back Todd Gurley. Though Wade Phillips’ defense hasn’t been all that great, there’s still a ton of talent there, anchored by Aaron Donald.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks enter this matchup at 2-2 and having had their share of struggles. Their offensive line has been abysmal for most of the season. And when teams can take advantage of that, Russell Wilson and the offense as a whole sputter as a result. The Seattle defense, of course, has continued to be one of the best in the league.

In year’s past, this would look like an easy victory in favor of the Seahawks. However, that doesn’t much seem like it’s going to be the case for this one in Week 5. The Rams indeed look like they are for real, and they could shock Seattle and move to 4-1 with a victory.
