The New York Jets are coming off one of their most bizarre losses ever to the New England Patriots, and they head down to South Beach to take on the Miami Dolphins in Week 7.

It’s the perfect time of year to head south, even though the New York Jets are going for business, and they’re not snow birds. Even though it’s just business, since the turn of the century, no matter what the team looks like, the Jets especially love going to Miami. The Jets are 12-5 in their last 17 trips to Miami, including a four-game winning streak which ended with last season’s meeting.

The Jets have blown out the Dolphins six times in those twelve wins. With that said, the total margin of the games is 383-291, for an average margin of five points. Their last three victories in Miami have all come by 13 points.

Earlier this season, the Jets defeated Miami by two touchdowns in East Rutherford. However, the Dolphins seem to have righted the ships in the last two games.

Don’t count on the Dolphins being good based on those two games. Their offense is still ranked 32nd in scoring, total yards and passing yards in 2017, and their rush offense is ranked 27th. This team isn’t good, but they played well for two games.

Let’s look at what the Jets will do against them on Sunday.
