1. The Jets get the shutout

The last time the Jets played the Dolphins, they were coming off of the Raiders debacle. In that game they were mad at themselves for the way they played in the Black Hole, and rightfully so. They took their frustration out on the Dolphins.

Coming into their Week 7 matchup with the Dolphins, the Jets are likely mad that they didn’t really have an opportunity to win the game against the Patriots, and it was taken away from them by someone not on the Patriots. Austin Seferian-Jenkins said all the right things, but according to Daryl Slater of NJ.com, wide receiver Jermaine Kearse had this say:

"“I was on the other side of the field, but when you look at the replay, I thought it was a B.S. call.”"

Regardless of the “on to Miami” talk, you’ve got to know that it will stick with them all week, and something else will too. The Jets have shutout the Dolphins once all-time, and they had a 20-0 lead in Week 3, and the Dolphins took the ball down the field and scored a touchdown on the final drive to end the shutout hopes for the Jets. They will remember that (and what happened with the Patriots) and take out their frustrations by not allowing a single point in this game.
