Fantasy Football 2017: 10 Deep sleepers for Week 7
By Dan Thomas
7. Jack Doyle, TE, Indianapolis Colts (35.3 percent owned)
Doyle is a player I like so much this week, he’s actually under my list of players to “start” in my weekly Start or Sit article. In his first game back from injury last week, Doyle caught seven passes for 50 yards and one touchdown. The Jaguars secondary is one of the scariest in the NFL and I don’t think the offensive gameplan will be to attack them. Instead, I believe they’ll attack their linebackers when they attempt to cover Doyle.
6. Chris Ivory, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars (29.6 percent owned)

Ivory is a player I think owners need to be scooping up right now for numerous reasons. First off, the team’s starting running back, Leonard Fournette, is questionable for Sunday and if he can’t go Ivory will be a RB 1/2 who could see 25 touches. Even if Fournette is active, he might not get a heavy workload especially with Ivory looking so good with the ball in his hands over the last few games.
At the very least, Ivory needs to be picked up on waivers and stashed on benches. Fournette’s aggressive running style does deliver a lot of punishment but it also takes a toll on his body. Right now, I can’t envision him playing all 16 games this season and if he’s out at any point this season whether it’s this Sunday or four Sundays from now, Ivory will be a great play.
5. Orleans Darkwa, RB, New York Giants (48.7 percent owned)
Darkwa is coming off his best game of the season (21 carries, 117 rushing yards) and he did it against one of the best run defenses in the NFL. This week he gets another tough matchup against the Seattle Seahawks and I honestly don’t think he has anywhere close to the game he did last week. Then again, I’m wrong on a weekly basis and it shouldn’t shock anyone if I’m wrong here.
