The New York Jets face the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Oct. 22 in NFL Week 7 of the 2017 season. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Surely nobody had the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets entering this game with their current records. Both teams faced some big odds against them when trying to put together respectable seasons — but so far they’ve been doing very well.
After losing starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill for the season to a knee injury, the Dolphins reached out to Jay Cutler as a replacement. He hasn’t been great, but he’s made just enough plays to keep them in games. As a result, they’ve found themselves in contention in the AFC East with a 3-2 record and are fresh off a huge upset over the Atlanta Falcons last week.
The Jets enter at 3-3, but nearly pulled off a huge upset last week over the New England Patriots. They jumped out to a 14-0 lead, but were unable to keep it up for 60 minutes. They had arguably the worst call of the season rob them of a touchdown, and in the end lost by seven to the defending champs.
It’s a far cry from the consensus that the Jets may go 0-16 to start the season. They were penciled in as the No. 1 pick in the 2018 draft, but the players had other plans. They will try to get back on the right side of .500 against Miami and for those who can’t see it on TV, try NFL Sunday Ticket for streaming services or Game Pass for replays.
