The Atlanta Falcons lost their third-straight game on Sunday night to the New England Patriots. Here are three miserable takeaways from the game.

The Atlanta Falcons are still searching for their first win in the month of October, as they lost a crushing football game to the New England Patriots in Week 7. While there weren’t too many people expecting the Falcons to come out on top against the Pats, no one thought that would happen because of their ineffectiveness on offense.

Needless to say, the Dirty Birds never got going on offense, made some horrible in-game play-calls and were embarrassed by New England on a national stage once again.

For fans of Atlanta, this game couldn’t have gone worse. Sure, it would have sucked to see the team blow another huge lead, but who would’ve thought this high-flying offense would be grounded by one of the league’s worst defenses through seven weeks?

Not only did it give some validation to everyone’s concerns about Steve Sarkisian, but now a team that we thought could win Super Bowl 51 is now becoming a team that could potentially miss out on the 2017 NFL Playoffs entirely. This leaves many fans angry, mad and most definitely confused.

That said, it’s still early in the season and there’s more than enough time to correct their mistakes. However, for right now, take a look at three miserable observations from the Falcons loss to the Patriots in Week 7.
