2. The Falcons Continue their Downward Spiral

Yesterday the Falcons offense had a dream matchup against the Patriots god-awful defense but once again, they fell short.

Matt Ryan only threw for 233 yards and one touchdown and has now gone six-straight games without scoring at least 18 fantasy points. Julio Jones did manage to have his best fantasy outing of the season, but even with it, he is still averaging less than 14.5 fantasy points per game. With the passing game taking multiple step backs, running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman simply haven’t been the same players we saw a season ago.

The Falcons offense could bounce-back next week against the Jets but at this point, it’s far from a guarantee. In fact, it’s looking more and more likely this offense from a season ago was just a one-hit wonder.

1. Sell Your Packers Pass-Catchers

We obviously knew the Packers passing offense wasn’t going to be the same without Aaron Rodgers but I didn’t think it was going to be this bad. In yesterday’s game against the Saints, the Packers top-three wide receivers (Neslon, Adams and Cobb) combined for just nine PPR fantasy points. Not one of them had more than two receptions or reached at least 20 yards receiving.

I understand it was quarterback Brett Hundley‘s first start and he could and should improve as the season goes along. Yet, I’m selling any of these three pass-catchers while I still can. If you’re an Aaron Jones owner, do yourself a favor and hold onto him. The team should lean on him while they attempt to figure out how to make the passing-game somewhat respectable.
