1. Chargers shock Patriots, win 28-26

Call me crazy, but I think the Chargers will win their fourth-straight game by beating the Patriots on Sunday afternoon in Gillette Stadium. Sure – there are some people who believe New England is back to being the best team in the league with a convincing win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7, but I think that specific game had more to do with the Dirty Birds’ issues on offense than anything else.

Los Angeles will be coming into this game on Sunday afternoon with high expectations after just beating Oakland and Denver in consecutive weeks. No, neither of those squads are playing at the Patriots’ level right now, but the Bolts have proven after the last three weeks that they are no fluke.

If they can get Melvin Gordon and their dynamic pass-rush going early in the football game, I can promise you they’ll be in this thing until the very end; unfortunately, that’s normally where the Chargers end up falling short.

However, that will change in Week 8, as Los Angeles will escape Foxborough with a victory that will even up their record at (4-4). If they can indeed earn this win on the road, the Bolts will have reignited their AFC Playoff hopes for 2017.
