Indianapolis Colts (2-6) at Houston Texans (3-4)

Behind the leadership of rookie sensation Deshaun Watson, the Houston Texans have been tearing it up over the last few weeks. Although not every game resulted in a win, it wasn’t for a lack of effort from Watson and the Houston offense.

Even in their two recent losses (both to contenders), the Texans have tallied 72 total points. The leading candidate for Offensive Rookie of the Year is getting the job done, and figures to do more of the same in Week 9 against one of the NFL’s worst pass defenses.

Right now, nothing is going right for the Indianapolis Colts. With Andrew Luck still out of the lineup, the offense can’t get moving. That’s put even more pressure on the defense to perform, which hasn’t allowed much of anything positive to happen. In fact, the Colts currently own the worst point differential in the league at -104.

Indianapolis will put up a touchdown or two and keep this one interesting in the first half. By the time the fourth quarter rolls around, though, Watson will have taken over the game and put a few passing touchdowns on the board. The Texans get back in the race with another dominant win.

Prediction: Texans win 44-20
