The New York Jets welcome the Buffalo Bills into town for their Week 9 matchup on Thursday Night Football.

It’s time for the penultimate division game of the season for the New York Jets as the Buffalo Bills come into MetLife Stadium on a short week for both teams. The Jets are coming off three consecutive games that were tough nail-biting losses. At some point in each of the games, they were in the lead and poor second halves lead to their demise.

The last three games proved one major thing about the Jets. They’re no quite playoff-caliber, but they can keep games competitive with better teams. Most games with this team won’t end with a lopsided score.

This game against the Bills may or may not determine whether or not they can make the playoffs, because it’s going to be tough in the AFC. However. Winning this game can give confidence to a young team that they can not only compete with a better team, but come away with a victory.

The Jets are at home and some unexpected things are going to happen in this game. Here are just three things that will happen that most people won’t expect going into Thursday’s game.
