2. The Saints D holds the Bucs to 14 points or less

Defensively, the New Orleans Saints have been on fire. People are already clamoring for Marshon Lattimore to be named Defensive Rookie of the Year. It might be a little bit premature for that, but that’s just me. For the most part, the Saints defense is making their opponents work to score.

This week, they’ll continue that trend. They might have slipped up against Green Bay, but got back on track with Chicago. They’re going to shut down the Bucs and keep them from scoring more than 14 points. If last week is an indication of how the Bucs play, then there should be no problem there.

The Saints need to make sure they pressure Jameis and not allow him to make throws to Mike Evans. Covering Evans and not allowing for big plays is going to be key along with stifling Doug Martin and making sure Winston doesn’t pick up those yards with his legs.

With Winston possibly battling a shoulder injury though, the team will probably be more focused on the run. Considering how poorly the Bucs played last week, the Saints should be able to hold them off and dominate like they have been.

The Bucs only put 3 points up on the board last week against the Panthers, so it should be a piece of cake for the Saints D.
