1. Kenny Vaccaro and Marshon Lattimore both pick off Winston

Defensively, two of the Saints best young players are Kenny Vaccaro and Marshon Lattimore. I put emphasis on young because we all know A.J. Klein and Cameron Jordan are studs. Vaccaro and Lattimore also lead the team in interceptions so it’s only rational to think the two will get the upper hand on Winston.

So far this season, Winston has thrown 10 touchdowns to six interceptions. Not exactly the most impressive stats and the margin of error is high. Against the Panthers D last week, Winston threw for two interceptions. Facing off against the Saints, Lattimore and Vaccaro have the best chance at picking him off or getting a pick-six.

In addition to their interceptions, Vaccaro and Lattimore have been racking up tackles. Even if they don’t pick off Winston, there’s the possibility of strip sacking Mike Evans, Cameron Brate or Doug Martin. The two are unstoppable right now and this week will only continue their trend of dominance.

The latest reports have hinted at the fact that Winston might even play. If that happens, it’s going to be even easier for the Saints to get an interception. Winston’s backup is Ryan Fitzpatrick, so yikes for the Bucs and good news for the Saints. Week 9 is going to be a huge week for the Saints defense.
