The Washington Redskins head to Seattle in Week 9 in an all-important NFC game. Here are three bold predictions for the Redskins against the Seahawks.

The Washington Redskins’ 2017 season is in peril with two straight division losses and a trip to Seattle upcoming this week. With a loss, the Redskins would fall to 3-5 in a wide-open, super-competitive NFC. Washington, even with a loss, will certainly still be in the thick of things in the NFC, but with games against division leaders Minnesota and New Orleans coming up, the Redskins could be staring 3-7 right in the face after a promising start to the season.

Making matters worse, almost half of the active roster didn’t practice on Wednesday, including the entire starting offensive line. Right tackle Morgan Moses, he of two sprained ankles, was the only starter who played in last week’s loss to Dallas. Left tackle Trent Williams likely won’t play this week, while the status of Brandon Scherff, Spencer Long and Shawn Lauvao won’t be determined until the weekend.

The Seahawks are riding high after last week’s thrilling win over the Houston Texas. While the defense didn’t look like the typical Seattle unit, the offense broke through in a major way. In two previous games against the Redskins, Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson has combined to rush for well over 100 yards. That’s a key to watch this weekend.
