The Arizona Cardinals face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Nov. 5 in NFL Week 9 of the 2017 season. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

An AFC West matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers could be interesting to look in on if for nothing other than the quarterback questions. The Cardinals have recently lost their starter at the spot as Carson Palmer went down with a broken arm.

They were off last week, which gave them some time to try and make sure that backup Drew Stanton is ready to run the offense. He’s been part of the team for awhile, so knowing the play book shouldn’t be an issue. Talent will be though.

Stanton has never shown any sign of being a starter at the NFL level, but for some reason head coach Bruce Arians keeps turning to him whenever they need to replace Palmer. Fortunately for him and the Cards, they’re going against the winless 49ers.

While San Francisco has fallen to 0-8, they made some positive waves just before the deadline. In an unexpected move, they traded for New England Patriots backup Jimmy Garoppolo. While he’s still limited in terms of experience, Garoppolo has shown signs that he can be the guy to lead the franchise out of the depths they sunk to — albeit not this season.

It’s a divisional game and worth checking out, especially considering their last meeting in October went to overtime. For anyone that’s not able to catch it on television, look into NFL Sunday Ticket for streaming services or Game Pass for replays.
