Are you a fantasy football owner who’s a little desperate for Week 9? Check out these 10 deep sleepers who could still be available in your league.

For the second week in a row, we have six teams on a bye and this means plenty of players are unavailable for fantasy football owners. If you’re an owner who finds herself/himself in a tight spot, let one of these top-10 sleepers bail you out of for Week 9.

Let’s dive in.

To be eligible as a “deep sleeper” players have to be less than 50 percent owned in ESPN leagues.

10. Damien Williams, RB, Miami Dolphins (21.3 percent owned)

With Jay Ajayi now in Philadelphia, it looks like the Dolphins are going to go with a running back by committee in their backfield between Williams and Kenyan Drake. It’s speculated Drake could be the lead running back in the committee but it’s no guarantee. Up to this point, Williams has more receptions on the season compared to Drake (8-3) so at the very least, Williams should be the favorite to lead the backfield in targets and receptions. If he outproduces Drake early on, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the coaching staff ride the hot hand.

9. Josh Doctson, WR, Washington Redskins (22.7 percent owned)

Last week Doctson only finished with one reception for one yard but owners were lucky that one reception went for a touchdown. In fact, Doctson only has one reception in three out his last five games but I still believe he’s worth a gamble in Week 9. The Redskins will be without Jordan Reed, Jamison Crowder is looking like he might not play and Terrelle Pryor has been struggling. Considering the circumstances, I wouldn’t be shocked one bit if Doctson led the team in receiving this week.
