5. Marlon Mack, RB, Indianapolis Colts (36.4 percent owned)

Last week the rookie saw a season/career-high in carries (11) and caught the first touchdown of his career. He now has 10+ PPR performances in three out his last four games. His matchup this week against the Texans isn’t great but with his ability to be a receiver out of the backfield, he still could do some damage.

4. Paul Richardson, WR, Seattle Seahawks (26.7 percent owned)

After catching a touchdown pass in Week 7, Richardson went ahead and caught himself two more of those suckers in Week 8. He goes into Week 9 leading the team in touchdown receptions (5) and has been the team’s most productive fantasy football receiver between Weeks 4-8. It’s true he’s a better standard league receiver than PPR considering he only has two games with four-or-more receptions. Still, when a guy has a hot-hand like Richardson, you go with him until there’s a good reason to believe he’ll cool off.

3. Orleans Darkwa, RB, New York Giants (40.7 percent owned)

In Weeks 5-6, Darkwa provided owners with back-to-back 14+ PPR performances before finishing with just 7.8 PPR points in Week 7. However, he did set a season-high in receptions with three that game. Coming out of the bye week, Darkwa is the favorite to lead the Giants backfield in touches and he faces a Rams defense who have been awful against the run (26th in the NFL). Consider Darkwa a low-end RB2/high-end RB3 with six teams on a bye this week.
