The Los Angeles Chargers had a rocky first-half of the 2017 season. Take a look at four important grades for their first eight games of the year.

The Los Angeles Chargers haven’t exactly lived up to the hefty expectations yet in 2017, but there’s still time to turn things around. Remember, this was a squad that started the year off with an (0-4) record, but have won three out of their last four. Needless to say, the ‘Bolts deserve a ton of credit for not quitting after that brutal beginning.

With that said, there needs to be some discussion about the overall grading of this football team through their first eight games of the season. Sure, winning three in-a-row does heal a ton of wounds, but it doesn’t expose what needs to be fixed.

For instance, the Chargers offense was one of the most highly-touted units in the AFC heading into 2017, but they are far from becoming one of the league’s most dangerous attacks. With a veteran quarterback under center and many talented receivers on the outside, their production still leaves a lot to be desired.

Therefore, what kind of grade would you, as a die-hard Chargers fan, give this offense? Remember, we are looking at the entirety of the team’s first-half of the season. Not just the good and definitely not just the bad.
