Cincinnati Bengals (3-5) at Tennessee Titans (5-3)

Both of these teams have endured a field-goal battle or two this season. It wouldn’t surprise me if we saw yet another in what’s been a bummer of a year for NFL offenses. Unfortunately, that’s just the way this league is trending at the moment.

Neither of these offenses has been all that exciting in 2017. The Cincinnati Bengals have been embarrassingly inconsistent on a weekly basis, showing up one Sunday and then tanking the next. While we’ve seen slightly better results from the Tennessee Titans, it’s nowhere near enough to convince me they’re going to run up the score against Cincinnati’s surprisingly stout defense.

In the end, though, I believe it’ll be the Tennessee defense that comes up with the game-winning play. As we’ve seen this season, the Titans have a knack for racking up interceptions on shaky quarterbacks. They did it last week against Joe Flacco, and seem primed for an encore against a mercurial Andy Dalton.

Look for a lot of field goals and plenty of punts as well. When the final whistle blows, a defensive touchdown from the Titans will be enough to maintain their spot atop the AFC South.

Prediction: Titans win 13-9
