Fantasy Football 2017: Start or Sit for Week 10
By Dan Thomas
Last Week and Season-Long Record of Start/Sit
Week 9 QB Starts: Tyrod Taylor and Jared Goff – Last week, Goff finished as the No. 1 fantasy football quarterback while Taylor finished No. 2. Let me enjoy this moment, because not all of my recommendations work out this well. Result: 2/2
Week 9 QB Sits: Andy Dalton and Marcus Mariota – Both quarterbacks finished outside the top 15 last week. Result: 2/2
Week 9 RB Starts: Adrian Peterson and Aaron Jones – AD finished last week’s game with 159 rushing yards, but Aaron Jones was a complete and utter bust. Result: 1/2
Week 9 RB Sits: Jay Ajayi, C.J. Anderson and Marshawn Lynch – CJA didn’t do, jack but Lynch had his best fantasy performance of the season last week. Ajayi only saw eight carries, but he took them for 77 yards and a touchdown. Wonderful. Result: 1/3
Week 9 WR Starts: Marvin Jones, Ted Ginn and Robert Woods – Both Jones and Woods scored two touchdowns and Ginn also found the end zone. Result: 3/3
Week 9 WR Sits: Kelvin Benjamin and Alshon Jeffery – Benjamin was inactive, so I won’t count him. Jeffery, like Marshawn Lynch, had his best fantasy performance of the season last week. Result: 0/1
Week 9 TE Starts: Vernon Davis and Jared Cook – Davis finished as the sixth-best PPR tight end last week while Cook finished No. 1. Result: 2/2
Week 9 TE Sits: Martellus Bennett and Ed Dickson -Bennett was inactive, so I won’t count him and Dickson didn’t catch a single pass. Result: 1/1
