The New York Jets head on the road to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for only the fifth time in team history. Three bold predictions for Gang Green.

Facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been good for the New York Jets. They have won their last eight meetings and their last three visits to Tampa Bay. The Bucs are the team the Jets have their best record against with a 10-1 (.909) ledger all time.

Last week against the Bills, both lines for New York dominated the game. They finally figured out a blueprint to winning, and the Jets need to follow that to keep their winning ways against the Buccaneers. Despite a 1-3 record, the Jets have been competitive in the last four games, and could just as easily be 4-0 and in AFC East contention. They’ve been the cause of their own undoing.

The Jets will be facing the Buccaneers at an opportune time, because they have a chance to go into their Bye Week at 5-5. That’s something most people outside of the Jets organization thought was even conceivable at the start of the season.

This is a feisty young bunch with the Jets. They were clicking on all cylinders on Thursday night and they get extra time to prepare. That doesn’t bode well for the Buccaneers. Here are some bold predictions for the Week 10 matchup.
