Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts

Just emerging past the halfway point of the season, teams are beginning to form their identity. Week ten’s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Indianapolis Colts will provide two different narratives for teams trending in two separate directions. The Colts, who sit at the bottom of the AFC South at 3-6, look to bandage their wounds and play catch-up with the rest of the division. On the other hand, the Steelers come in to Sunday’s contest at 6-2 with a two game lead in the AFC North and hopes of a first-round bye come playoff time.

If you’ve missed the last three times these teams have played, let’s catch you up: The Steelers have outscored the Colts 124-51 over the span of their last three games, all ending in Pittsburgh’s favor by no less than 17 points. Statistics involving both Indianapolis and Pittsburgh could be tossed around all day, but to sum up recent history, Mike Tomlin and company have had Indianapolis’ number.

So will history continue to repeat itself, or do the Colts have other ideas? Pittsburgh arrives as a 10.5 favorite coming off their bye week while Indianapolis looks to defend home turf after an important road victory in Houston just a week prior.

Let’s preview this matchup, starting by a look at Indianapolis.
