The New York Jets faced the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Nov. 12 in NFL Week 10. Here are the highlights from the game.

The New York Jets are definitely looking better than most people thought they would heading into Week 10. They are in 10th place in the AFC and only one game out of the sixth seed in the AFC Playoffs.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, on the other hand, are playing like most people thought the Jets would. They sitting at 2-6, and they are likely to get a top-ten pick in the draft and could land in the top-five.

These two teams were also on opposite ends of the spectrum in Week 9. They Jets blew out the Bills, and the Bucs were blown out by the Saints. Even more bad news came out of that game, according to Scott Smith of buccaneers.com, Jameis Winston will miss at least the next two weeks. That means an old friend will be starting for the Bucs, Ryan Fitzpatrick.

The Jets look to continue their winning ways against one of the league’s worst defenses. After scoring 30 points for the first time this season, they get to face the Bucs, who’ve given up at least 30 point in three of their last four games. On top of that, they’ve given up five 300+ yards passing games, and they’ve allowed 100+ team rushing yards in six of eight games (with 150+ in four).

New York’s offensive and defensive lines are getting better each week. As a result of the offensive line getting better the Jets rushed for 194 yards and three touchdowns against the Bills. They also got sacks from the defensive line and linebackers, totaling six for the game.

For the first time all season, even the odds makers are giving the Jets respect as a 2.5 point road favorite. New York may lock this one up by the end of the third quarter like they did against the Bills.
