Are you a fantasy football owner who’s a little desperate for Week 11? Check out these 10 deep sleepers who could still be available in your league.
Fantasy football is a crapshoot. We all know that. That’s why we know there are still some players on your waiver wire who can help your team win this week. Last week, our list featured a player who finished as the seventh-best running back (Dion Lewis) and two wide receivers who finished as top-18 wide receivers (Marqise Lee and Marquise Goodwin).
Who will be those players this week?
To be eligible as a “deep sleeper” players have to be less than 50 percent owned in ESPN leagues.
10. Damien Williams, RB, Miami Dolphins (29.1 percent owned)
Kenyan Drake is obviously the back to own in Miami but that doesn’t mean Williams can’t provide PPR owners with a double-digit performance on Sunday. Williams finished with 18.1 points in Week 9 before struggling to do much of anything in Week 10 (5.9 points). He’s collected eight receptions over the last two weeks and should remain involved in the passing game against a bad Buccaneers team.
9. Samaje Perine, RB, Washington Redskins (27.0 percent owned)
Rob Kelley is out for the season which means Perine will see an uptick in carries. Yes, it’s true the rookie has not been impressive so far this season (3.2 YPC) but volume should be on his side. Perine should see around 12-15 touches and if the Redskins get near the goal line, the 236-pound running back should get the call.
8. Mike Wallace, WR, Baltimore Ravens (33.9 percent owned)
The Ravens will take on the the Packers this week who rank 20th in passing defense and have given up seven touchdown passes to opposing wide receivers over their last five games. Wallace is coming off his second-most targeted game (seven) and third-most productive fantasy game (11.9). Wallace is a boom-or-bust player but in a game like this, his chances of booming is better than busting (not by much though).
7. Dontrelle Inman, WR, Chicago Bears (6.3 percent owned)
In his first game with the Bears last week, Inman finished with six receptions for 88 yards on eight targets. Obviously it was just one game, so maybe it’s a fluke — but then again, maybe it’s not. The Lions secondary ranks 25th in passing defense this season so if Inman sees eight targets for the second week in a row, he could have a WR2 type of day.
