The Atlanta Falcons came away with a huge win over the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night. Here are three takeaways from the game.

The Atlanta Falcons picked up their biggest win of the season on Monday night, defeating the Seattle Seahawks, 34-31. We all knew this game had the potential to be awesome, but little did we know the game would come down to a missed field goal by Blair Walsh. With only six weeks left to play, the Dirty Birds just gained a huge tiebreaker over their NFC foes.

With their win over the Seahawks, the Falcons now climb back into the NFC playoff picture as the sixth-seed. Not to mention, they also have key victories over the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys — all teams that could make a push for the playoffs in December.

I don’t know about you, but this win for Atlanta is one of the more impressive victories I’ve seen from them in 2017. We’ve seen this squad blow some large leads, but we had yet to see them play well on offense and defense in the same evening. Sure, the Falcons gave up 31 points, but I thought they actually played pretty well, given the circumstances of facing a red-hot Russell Wilson.

With that said, take a look at three takeaways from this fantastic Monday Night Football match-up.
