1. A big day for the running back trio

It was just three weeks ago on Thursday that the Jets welcomed the Bills to town and were rude hosts. They welcomed a Bills team that was a top scoring and run defense heading into that game. The Bills headed back to Orchard Park having allowed 194 yards rushing, three rushing touchdowns, and total of 34 points. The Bills haven’t recovered from the loss, because they’ve lost the last two games 101-34.

Now, the Panthers come into town with a top-five rush and scoring defense. So, the Jets have the right team to play immediately after the bye week. The Jets will have to establish the run to win this game, and they will punch the Panther right in the mouth early and often. Despite having one of the best defenses in the NFL, the Jets running game will get 150+ yards as a team on the ground and two or more touchdowns.

The offensive line will have one of their best games of the season too. They will control the clock and keep the Panther offense off the field. The Jets will limit their pass play and focus on the run. It will lead to a low-scoring tough New York-type game.
