1. Redskins get the win

Despite all of the injuries, the Washington Redskins will finally manage to get back on the winning side of things on Thanksgiving. It will be as much to do with the opponent as anything else. The hapless Giants appear on Washington’s schedule at the absolute perfect time. The Redskins are still in the playoff hunt — barely — and with a win on Thursday are one win closer to .500 again.

Cousins will face plenty of pressure against the Giants, however, he’s proven proficient in beating pressure lately. His touchdown pass to Ryan Grant against a zero blitz last week was a thing of beauty. Expect New York to send plenty of pressure against Washington’s beat-up offensive line but Cousins will make them pay.

This game will be a battle until the fourth quarter, with the Giants managing to sustain a couple of touchdown drives to keep them in it. Turnovers will be why Washington wins the game, as D.J. Swearinger, Ryan Kerrigan and Josh Norman all make plays for the Redskins’ defense.

For one more week, the Redskins are still alive in the playoff mix.
