The Thanksgiving holiday will bring out a rivalry as two division foes will battle it out. The New York Giants will take on the Washington Redskins in the final game of the day.

Last time out, the Giants beat the Kansas City Chiefs by a 12-9 score. Although the win was not necessarily flashy, a win is a win nonetheless. Signal-caller Eli Manning went 19-of-35 on the afternoon throwing for 205 yards, avoiding mistakes in the process and keeping his team in the game. It was the running talents of Orleans Darkwa that carried the day. He rushed the rock 20 times for 74 yards and a touchdown, proving to be a dependable option in the backfield. With the Giants’ wide receiving corps thin to say the least, others have had to step up. Sunday, it was Roger Lewis who led the day for New York, catching three passes for 55 yards and stretching the field, averaging 18.3 yards per catch on the day.

The Redskins gave everything they had against a tough New Orleans Saints team, but fell short on Sunday by a 31-34 score. Quarterback Kirk Cousins had a great day, going 22-of-32 , throwing for 322 yards, and three touchdowns. Samaje Perine had the game of his life out of the backfield in this one. Rushing the ball 23 times for 117 yards and a touchdown, he averaged five yards per carry, shortening the field for Washington. Josh Doctson was the leading receiver for the team in this one, but he was not the only individual who managed to get the job done. Catching four passes for 81 yards, he certainly did his part while Ryan Grant, Chris Thompson and Jeremy Sprinkle all had touchdown catches.
