Jacksonville Jaguars: Doug Marrone

What a turnaround it’s been for the Jacksonville Jaguars since they hired Doug Marrone as their head coach at the end of last season. Since Marrone joined the team, the Jags have a solid record of (8-4) and are looking like the clear favorites to win the AFC South in 2017. Needless to say, Jacksonville has a completely different identity under their new head coach.

Kansas City Chiefs: The other AFC West teams are under .500

Even though Kansas City has gone from an impressive (5-0) record to a shocking (6-4), they are still in great position to make the AFC Playoffs in January. While they haven’t played all that well since September, the other AFC West teams have been even worse, with the second-place Chargers sitting at (4-6). Needless to say, the Chiefs are catching a huge break thanks to the mediocrity of the rest of their division.

Los Angeles Chargers: Weak end-of-season schedule

Just like the Lions, Los Angeles is going to benefit from playing a pretty darn easy slate of opponents over the next six weeks. With games coming against the Cowboys, Browns, Redskins, Chiefs, Jets and Raiders; the Chargers will definitely give the Chiefs a run for their money down the stretch of 2017.
