New England Patriots: Bill Belichick

Year in and year out, every team in the NFL tries to figure out what the New England Patriots are doing that makes them so dominant. While Tom Brady is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time, it’s Bill Belichick who makes this team something special. Without the greatest coach in modern NFL history, who knows where this New England franchise would be.

New Orleans Saints: Adrian Peterson is in Arizona

For whatever reason, the moment New Orleans traded Adrian Peterson was the turning-point of their year. Since then, Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara have gotten more playing time, which has been a huge reason why the Saints have reeled off eight straight victories after starting the season (0-2). That said, I don’t think one New Orleans football fan misses Peterson this holiday season.

New York Giants: That there are only six games left in 2017

Again, I don’t mean to be overly-dramatic when talking about the worst teams in the league, but the Giants don’t have a lot going their way right now. Sure, a win over the Chiefs was impressive, but it’s hard to be happy over a 12-9 overtime win at home. Needless to say, every New York fan should be thankful they only have to endure this eye-sore of a team for only six more weeks.
