1. Los Angeles Chargers at Dallas Cowboys

One of the best ingredients for an exciting game is desperation. And, after getting blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys have that in spades.

They also have arguably the perfect opponent for an extremely juicy matchup in the Los Angeles Chargers, who suddenly have the Kansas City Chiefs in their sights in the AFC West after crushing the Nathan Peterman-led Buffalo Bills.

At 5-5 in the hyper-competitive NFC, Dallas can ill-afford any slip-ups. For the first time in his fledgling career, Dak Prescott has his back against the wall.

However, he should have left tackle Tyron Smith back as the Cowboys prepare to face arguably the league’s best pass rush duo in Joey Bosa and Melvin Gordon. It will be fascinating to see how Prescott and the Cowboys respond.

On the other side, it’s gunslinger Philip Rivers, blessed with a plethora of weapons, against a Cowboys defense that was brutally exposed by the Eagles with linebacker Sean Lee on the sidelines. It’s not quite loser goes home, but it’s pretty close. This is the main course, and it’s one not to be missed.
