With Week 12 of the regular season set to kick off tonight, who are the players fantasy football owners should want to start and sit?

With bye weeks finally over, all owners should be at full strength going into Week 12. Well, maybe not full strength will all the injuries that happened this season but close to it (maybe). These last two weeks of the fantasy football regular season are critical with some owners jockeying for playoff position while others are simply fighting for a playoff birth. Who are the players who will help and hurt you in the this second-to-last week of the regular season?

Here are some players you should consider starting or sitting for Week 12.

Quarterbacks

Start

Marcus Mariota, Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts – If you held onto Marcus Mariota this long, congratulations because it’s about to pay off. Mariota and his hamstring are back to full health and this week the Titans take on the Indianapolis Colts who rank 30th in passing yards per game.

Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – It hasn’t been a great fantasy season for Ryan but it appears the Falcons offense is finally turning the corner. Ryan has averaged 16.5 points over the last four games and there’s a strong possibility he’ll eclipse that average when he takes on the Buccaneers 31st passing defense.

Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns – Dalton has now gone four-straight games without throwing an interception and in two of those four games he’s finished with 18.6+ fantasy points. I like Dalton’s chances of finishing as a top-10 quarterback this week when he takes on the Browns.

Sit

Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders vs. Denver Broncos – This honestly doesn’t have to do with the matchup because the Broncos defense hasn’t been that good this season. Instead, this is more about Carr. Since Week 2 he only has one game with over 14 fantasy points. At this point, how can he be trusted?
