Running Backs

Start

Orleans Darkwa, New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins – Darkwa is another player who is flying under the radar because even though he hasn’t had any monster games, he has had a lot of solid ones. Since Week 5 he has been the 16th-best PPR running back in fantasy points per game despite only scoring two touchdowns during that time. The Redskins rushing defense started the season off strong but as we saw last week against the Saints, they haven’t been all that good as of late.

Sit

Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns – Mixon saw a season/career high in carries last week (20) but still only generated 6.9 PPR points. I expect his struggles to continue when the Bengals offense take on the sixth-best rushing defense in the NFL.

Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Atlanta Falcons – Martin is another guy who is seeing a good amount of volume which we love but he simply isn’t cutting it. I doubt he gets it done against the Falcons who have only given up one rushing touchdown to an opposing running back since Week 3.
