2. Once again, Chargers defense played fantastic

On one hand, we knew that Dallas’ offense was struggling without superstar running back Ezekiel Elliott, but on the other hand, Los Angeles’ defense has been improving each and every weekend. With a huge chance to keep climbing in the AFC West standings, the Chargers defense slowed down Dak Prescott and helped bring home the team’s fifth win of the year.

More from Los Angeles Chargers

Not only did Los Angeles succeed in shutting down the Cowboys running game, but they just stifled one of the more potent offenses in the NFL.

Los Angeles held Dallas to 247 total offensive yards, while keeping them to only six points. Needless to say, that was exactly the type of performance that will have people starting to respect this defense moving forward.

As usual, let most of the media say what they want about this 2017 Chargers football team, but I truly believe they are starting to turn things around. With a date against the Cleveland Browns in Week 13, Los Angeles has a phenomenal chance of getting back to .500.
