It’s week 12, and the New York Jets are welcoming the Carolina Panthers for the third time to East Rutherford, NJ.

The New York Jets are still in the thick of the AFC playoff race, despite the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before the Bye Week. This week, the Panthers come to East Rutherford for the third time to face the Jets all-time.

East Rutherford hasn’t been kind to the Panthers when facing the Jets. They’re 0-2 all-time, having been outscored 65-27 in the process.

The Jets have had a wild train ride of a season. They lost their first two games convincingly. Then, they went on a three-game winning streak. That was followed by a string of disappointing finishes to games which was a three-game losing streak. Then they had a one-sided victory over Buffalo, and didn’t show up in Tampa Bay against one of the worst teams in the league.

Just like Week 9 when they welcomed the Bills, the Panthers come in with a top scoring and run defense. The Jets will have to establish the run and win the time of possession battle in order to win this game. Here are some of the players that can make that happen.
