1. Robby Anderson

The Panthers secondary is the biggest weakness on the team by far. Their cornerbacks are the biggest culprits, and Robby Anderson will have to take full advantage of that in this game.

According to Pro Football Focus Elite, the lowest catch rate allowed by a Panthers cornerback is 58.8 percent. PFF Elite also has three of their four corners giving up a 100+ passer rating, while three of the four also give up 90+ yards after the catch. That’s where Robby Anderson comes in.

Anderson can use his speed to gain yards after the catch, but he will have to make the catch more often in this game in order to take advantage of the weakness. According to Pro Football Focus Elite, there have been 38 catchable balls thrown to Robby Anderson and he’s dropped three. That drop rate ranks him 11th highest in the NFL.

He must catch the ball and run with it against this team, because the corners have also allowed five touchdowns this season. If he can take advantage of this clear weakness, the Jets will be in business for a win, and get closer to the final playoff spot in the AFC.
