New England Patriots (9-2) at Buffalo Bills (6-5)

The New England Patriots are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now. The offense is among the most efficient groups in the league, due in large part to MVP-caliber play from Tom Brady and the passing game.

Do the Buffalo Bills really believe they have what it takes to keep the New England air assault in check? I hope not, especially seeing as they currently own the 22nd-ranked pass defense and haven’t had much luck against top passing attacks in the second half of the season.

If I had to guess, I’d say the Patriots shred the Buffalo secondary all day long on Sunday. Brady has another excellent outing, putting a few touchdowns on the board and eclipsing the 300-yard mark through the air. The Bills do their best to keep pace in the scoring department, but their offensive inconsistency won’t allow it in Week 13.

It’s been a fun run for the Bills, who still remain in the playoff picture. Unfortunately, this loss pulls them further away from that sixth seed in the AFC. As for the Patriots, they stay right where they want to be — in position for a first-round bye.

Prediction: Patriots win 34-24
