2017 NFL Picks, score predictions for Week 13
Denver Broncos (3-8) at Miami Dolphins (4-7)
I seriously hate that I even have to pick a winner for this one. It’s the ultimate matchup between two of the most disappointing NFL teams in recent memory. It’s like voting during a presidential election — deciding who’s the better of two evils.
I’ll admit I was initially stumped on this one. Both teams have been miserable since about Week 5. The Denver Broncos, however, are on a mission to earn as high of a draft pick as possible during the 2018 NFL Draft. They’ve lost seven straight games, and can’t get it together with their play under center.
Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins are their own special sort of mess as well. The offense has been lethargic all season long, only aided by a middle-of-the-road defense. It’s been like a watching a car crash in slow motion, except in this instance you have zero reason to care about the outcome.
Just because I need to, I’m going with the Dolphins. They’ve got home-field advantage against a Broncos team that’s yet to win on the road this year. Both teams stink it up, but Miami stumbles its way into a win in Week 13.
Prediction: Dolphins win 13-9
